MiAlgae Lands £2.5M From Scottish National Investment Bank for Grangemouth Algal Omega-3 Fermentation Plant
The Edinburgh biotech, which ferments whisky distilling by-products into microalgae rich in DHA omega-3, has secured £2.5 million from the Scottish National Investment Bank as it scales a Grangemouth plant aimed at aquafeed and pet nutrition buyers.
