Better Dairy Secures Self-Affirmed GRAS for Precision-Fermented Lactopontin, an Animal-Free Osteopontin for Adult Nutrition
London-based Better Dairy has completed a self-affirmed GRAS determination in the US for lactopontin, its yeast-made, human-sequence osteopontin, opening the door to supplement and food launches in healthy ageing, gut health, immunity and sports recovery. FDA review was not involved, and early-life nutrition is not yet covered.
