Kayem Foods Recalls 1.58 Million Pounds of Ready-to-Eat Meat Over Warehouse Cooler Temperature Abuse, Putting Cold Chain Monitoring in Focus
FSIS has announced a Class I recall of about 1.58 million pounds of Kayem Foods ready-to-eat meat and poultry, including hot dogs, bacon and sausage, after a warehouse cooler experienced temperature deviations that were first flagged by a retail customer at delivery.
